West Austin is where the Austin hill country begins. Breath taking views, water front properties and luxury can all be found in West Austin. There are an array of different views to choose from in West Austin, hill country, Lake Austin, The 360 Bridge and even views of Downtown. Or you can live right on the water! Lake Austin is a gorgeous lake, I learned to water ski on this lake. Properties on the lake consist of lots and homes with private boat docks. Many homes in the area have water access even if they are not located directly on the lake.

West Austin is a convenient location and a beautiful place to live! Living in the hill country can feel removed, but West Austin is close to shopping, out door recreational activities and downtown! The green belt is all around this area and great for hiking and swimming in the rainy months. Barton Creek mall is located in West Austin, anchoring the mall is Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Sears. There is a movie theater and restaurants in the mall as well as some great stores like Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, Gap, etc.
West Austin is also home to the highly esteemed Eanes school district.
