Barton Hills is located in South Austin but only minutes to Downtown and many amenities. Homes date back to the 1940’s, although some homes have been updated or expanded. Barton Hills borders Barton Creek on the West and South and bumps up to Zilker Park and Lady Bird Lake. The neighborhood is greeted by theUmlauf Scupture Gardens and Zilker Botanical Gardens are just West on Barton Springs. The local watering hole, Barton Springs, is in walking and biking distance to Baton Hills. There are several local restaurants to choose from on Barton Springs Blvd and lots of shopping along South Lamar.
