Milwood is a large neighborhood running north of Research Blvd(183) between MoPac Expwy and Anderson Mill Rd and South of Palmer Lane. The homes in Milwood are great starter homes and reasonably priced. Balcones District Park is located in Milwood and offers bar-b-que pits, picnic tables, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, playscape and trails along Walnut Creek. The Milwood library is just down the street from the park, if you haven’t been to the library in a while go check it out. I love the smell of old books!

Near By Shops & Eateries
Milwood is near lots of shopping and most of it is upscale. Milwood is located just North of the Arboretum, which is an out door mall with restaurants and shops. You will find stores like Saks 5th Ave, Sephora, Nine West, Jos A. Bank, Restoration Hardware, etc. Restaurants in the Arboretum are Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Z Tejas, Amy’s Ice Cream and many more. The Domain is another out door shopping mall located just East of Milwood. In the Domain you have The Apple Store, Sur La Table, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, plus many more and there some fantastic restaurants like Jasper’s, The Steeping Room, Sushi Zushi and Kona Grill.
